The Geovent ASA-4 Arm Extraction Arm is designed for the extraction of welding fumes, grinding dust and fumes etc. where operators' needs are in focus when it comes to maneuverability, ergonomics and efficiency. Hose and ALU duct are mounted on the outside of the arm in order to let the airflow pass freely ensuring the lowest possible pressure drop.
The Geovent ASA-4 Arm is made with ALU parts, in order to keep the total weight down. Arm has 3 stables and 3 turning points. Can be extended up to 8 m, available in lengths of 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 m.
Product Details
Wall Bracket
Steel console in powder enamel yellow RAL1007. The console is turnable up to 180°.
Hood
Light weight aluminium hood in Ø160 or Ø200 mm, which is equipped with an integrated ergonomic handle. Movable in all possible positions.
Arm and friction joints
25 x 25 mm aluminium pipe, connected via joints with friction discs and plate springs. Inner arm part is reinforced with 30 x 30 mm EL-galvanised bracket and equipped with gas spring.
Capacity
Up to 2000 m³/h (depending on Ø diameter), which makes it suitable for all types of welding fumes and glue fumes, where large airflows are required.
Typical use
Ø160 mm = 800 - 1000 m³/h for MIG/MAG welding in black steel
Ø200 mm = 800 - 1000 m³/h for MIG/MAG welding in stainless steel
Recommended installation height: min. 2500 mm
