The Geovent Portable Fan PM-200 & PM-225 are suitable for the extraction of welding fumes, vapors etc. in places and rooms where a fixed extraction is not suitable. For example, it can be used for extraction from - or as an air supply unit to - cargo holds, containers, etc.
Weight is 30 / 35 kgs. A trolley with 2 wheels is available as an optional extra.
PM-200 - Including 2 x 5 m Ø165 mm hose, hood with magnet, thermal protection with a breaker, and a 10m cable for 230v with a plug.
PM-225 - Including 2 x 5 Ø200 mm hose, hood with magnet, thermal protection with a breaker, and a 10m cable for 400v with a plug.
Product Details
The GEOVENT transportable Fans PM-200 & PM-225 are typically used for comfort ventilation as well as for smaller process extraction jobs, where a high pressure is not required.
The Fan is applied for process extraction within the industry for the extraction of welding smoke, vapours, and other jobs where a fixed installation is not possible.
Explosive media – The Fan is not suitable for the extraction of aluminium dust, flour, textile dust nor for sawdust or other media, which are connected with danger of explosion, without specific approval from Geovent A/S.
Fan housing - 100% hot-galvanized steel for optimal corrosion resistance. Carrying feet have been mounted on all Fans with fitted vibration dampers as well as inlet nozzle with safety net.
Fan wheel - Forward curved sirocco-fan wheel (F-wheel) in hot-galvanized steel sheet.
Motor - B5 flange motor, directly driven in protection class IP 55.
Shield Powder Coated
Hose/hood - 2x 5m flexible and lightweight hose with coupling brackets for easy mounting and dismounting. Power coated extraction hood with 1 strong power magnet. Cable 10m rubber cable
