With the introduction of the HSG258 code of practice, partial enclosures are steadily becoming the preferred option for operator protection from fumes generated from processes such as hand soldering, solvent use and other processes that produce harmful fumes. BOFA's FumeCAB 250 fume cabinet has been purposefully designed to help employers comply with industry best practise.
Note - if purchasing for use with an existing V250 extraction unit with a twin ø50mm spigot lid, a replacement lid with single ø75mm spigot will be required to convert for use with the FumeCAB 250 - see option A1060062 below.

The Bofa FumeCAB 250 is a fume cabinet designed to extract dusts generated from processes such as hand soldering. It has been purposefully designed to help employers comply with industry best practise.

The fumecab can be purchased individually or as a kit with the BOFA V250 extractor. Filter options include combined HEPA/Gas for soldering applications or double gas filter for use with organic solvents.
