The DC AirCube 500 is a highly durable, easy to use and efficient air cleaning system for the workplace. The two stage filtration of the unit removes fine dust and particles from the work environment to ensure better air quality for workers. This unit comes complete with pre-filter & HEPA 13 Filter.
Optional accessories include an inlet transition & hosing that can be used to create negative pressure in a sealed room.
Which air cleaner should I choose?
Dustcontrol’ s basic rule, is to multiply the number of cubic metres in a room by 10. For example: If you have a room measuring 40 m³, you will need an air cleaner with a capacity of 10 times 40, i.e. 400 m³. A DC AirCube 500 will be sufficient in this case.
Please note that the 240v version of this unit comes supplied with a commando plug, an adaptor is required for the use in domestic/residential locations i.e use with a 13A 3-Pin Standard Socket.
Product Details
The fan unit is a radial blower with a specially designed scroll to build up high pressure across its complete flow range. This means that the unit generates large amounts of airflow during the entire lifetime of the filter. An exhaust hose can be used to create negative pressure in a sealed room.
The fan has two speed settings that allows for economical operation, for example during the night. This smaller, but highly effective, machine is ideally suited for the smaller job site such as computer rooms, hospitals or sensitive areas. Available in 110v or 240v options. Please select 240v if you intent to use the device in a standard home plug socket.

When the suction power starts to drop due to excessive dust load, this is indicated by the red warning light – replace the pre-filter. Before changing the filter, make sure that the outlet is free when the warning light is lit. If the suction power is still weak after pre-filter replacement, replace the HEPA filter. In case of heavy dust load, the service life is shorter.
