The Nederman CARZ explosion isolation flap valve is designed to prevent the effect of pressure and flames caused by an explosion travelling upstream in the ductwork in which it is mounted.
When trigged, the CARZ valve will snap closed, suppressing fire and pressure from returning through a system and injuring the user. The CARZ valve is a necessity in ATEX zones, which handle moderate amounts of explosive dusts. A range of sizes are available for the CARZ valve, catering for a vast number of system requirements.
