Product Details

The 1000S Single-Sided Hot Wire Strip Heater allows a sheet of thermoplastic material (e.g. acrylic, ABS, polycarbonate) to be heated in a strip along its length. The width of the heated area is normally around twice the thickness of the material. Due to the characteristics of the material, it becomes flexible when heated, allowing it to be bent to the required shape. Once cooled, the bent material retains the formed shape.
